Brussels is the capital of Belgium as well as its largest metropolitan area, with a population of over 1.8 million as of 2008. Brussels is known as the home of many political organizations, specifically being the political headquarters of NATO as well as the European Union.

It is in fact a man depicted in the statue is Lord Everard’t Serclaes, a nobleman during the 14th century. The legend behind the statue says that when you touch his wrist, it will bring you one year of luck in love. One of them, if you are any kind of cook, has to be the Chefparade Cooking School.
